Incorporation of Environmental, Social and Governance Factors in Business Activities

Piper Sandler has incorporated Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors into our business. Current business activities taking place with sustainability focus include:

• The investment banking consumer group has a subsector specializing in Healthy, Active and Sustainable Living®
• Our energy investment banking and research industry coverage has expanded to the renewable energy sector. This sector consists of helping companies who are in the generation and production of renewable energy, including recent coverage of the solar sector, as well as equipment and component manufacturers.
• Equity research coverage has expanded to include ESG ratings and analysis for investors. The firm recently published a top 10 favorite ESG stocks report, with stocks included from each of our five sectors of coverage.
