Damien Palantino is a vice president in the public finance group at Piper Sandler, where he focuses on facilitating the firm’s project finance group in the execution of corporate-related tax-exempt and taxable financing structures for a wide range of non-recourse project developments, including solid waste, agriculture, pulp and paper, mining, and recycling. Specifically, Palantino specializes in the construct and design of complex quantitative analysis / financial modeling while assisting with examining new project opportunities, conducting due diligence, managing development teams, and all other aspects involved in the execution of a project financing.

Furthermore, Palantino dedicates time to Piper Sandler’s public finance Pennsylvania local government banking efforts.

Palantino joined Piper Sandler & Co. in 2013. Prior to joining the firm’s project finance group, he developed banking expertise at Piper Sandler supporting a high volume of local government transactions throughout the Northeastern United States. Palantino has served a diverse spectrum of borrowers including counties, cities, towns, villages, school districts, higher education, transportation authorities, senior living facilities, and water/sewer/utility issuers.

Palantino holds a master’s degree in international business and a bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing from Arcadia University, where he was a member and two-year captain of the varsity men’s basketball team.
