Richard Libretti is a managing director in the financial services group at Piper Sandler.

Previously, he was a principal of Sandler O’Neill + Partners, L.P. Libretti is a former senior vice president of Tucker Anthony and a former partner of L.F. Rothschild & Co., where he co-managed the bank service group.

Libretti works with mid-tier financial institutions offering advice on balance sheet management and strategic planning.

He is a trustee St. Peter’s University and a member of the board of the Pontifical Institute of Theology. Libretti is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and is involved with the Red Cloud Indian School in Pine Ridge, South Dakota.
